27 September 2015 - Frasers Centrepoint Malls successfully sets a new record for the ‘Largest Singapore Map made of Mooncakes’, on the Singapore Book of Records. In partnership with the North West Community Development Council (CDC), the record-setting event was an initiative to raise awareness about North West Food Aid Fund, set up by the North West CDC.

However, the Mooncake Bash was more than just celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival. It was also about promoting the spirit of family and community bonding. This could be seen at the event where 20 of the fastest teams from the Mooncake Challenge preliminary rounds held at YewTee Point and Northpoint last week, competed in the Grand Finals.

Every team featured different family members, from siblings to parents, and even grand-parents. With teamwork and enthusiasm, they raced against other teams to complete a three-station obstacle course of rearranging Mid-Autumn stories, dressing up as Mid-Autumn characters, writing calligraphy and finally making a set of three snow skin mooncakes. This Mid-Autumn Festival with Frasers Centrepoint Malls is truly about bringing families together. Tune in for more family-friendly activities next week!
